Our home is a beautiful Saltbox with a heated garage, large patio, and a fenced-in yard in an excellent North Deering neighborhood in Portland, Maine. We are convenient to everything. There is a supermarket, two banks, a few restaurants, stores, UPS, an Elementary and Middle School, etc. all within 2 miles. You will find 153 Regan Lane on a map conveniently situated between Interstate 95 and 295 for easy commuting.

We have meticulously maintained this home. There are 7 rooms in the house proper consisting of two large Bedrooms and a full Bath up, the living room, third bedroom, another full bath, Dining, and Kitchen on the first level. Above the attached garage you will find another large Bedroom or Family room. Two Central Vacuum Systems have been installed - one in the heated garage area and one in the house proper.

In the kitchen you will see cabinets in Oak, "quality" appliances in Stainless and Black accented with a Granite Counter and backsplash. The full basement has been studded, insulated, dry walled, painted, and is also heated. The laundry area has a hanging pole and folding table. The back yard is mostly level with a huge sandbox, swing set, patio, shade trees and shed.

For those new to the area, a short drive of about 10 minutes, you can be down near the water at Casco Bay or in the Waterfront district called Old Port - a quaint section of Portland with lots of shops, restaurants, and cobble stone streets. For those who love to jog or walk, there is a 3.5 mile course around the Back Bay.

If you venture out a few more miles, you can get to the awesome Fort Williams State Park where you will find the Portland Head Light House - one of the most photographed lighthouses in America. Believe me, Casco Bay, with its 222 Islands is a Boater's and Fisherman's paradise. It takes us about 20 minutes to drive to the world famous L L Bean flagship campus of stores in Freeport, Maine.

There are always lots going on in Portland with many cruise ships stopping by, sporting events, cultural shows, etc. We have included a few pictures of this fabulous Sea Port City for those who have never been to Portland.
